These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Behindr app (“Behindr”, “the app”). By downloading or using Behindr, you agree to these Terms.
Behindr grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. This licence is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which applies to Behindr in addition to these Terms. Where the two differ, the stricter term applies.
You keep all rights to the photos, videos, and text you create with Behindr. All editing happens on your device; we never receive, store, or claim any rights to your content. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any photo, video, or image you edit, and for the content of anything you create and share.
You agree not to use Behindr to create or share content that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or violates the App Store guidelines — for example content that harasses others, infringes copyright, or depicts illegal activity. You also agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
Behindr is free to use. Free exports carry a small watermark. “Behindr Pro” removes that watermark and unlocks every look, including the new look packs added over time. There are three ways to buy it: a weekly auto-renewing subscription, a monthly auto-renewing subscription, or a single one-time purchase that does not renew. The exact price for your country, the length of each billing period and the length of any free trial are always shown on the upgrade screen inside the app before you buy.
Both subscriptions start with a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends. A subscription renews automatically, at the same price and for the same length of period, unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your device — cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the period you have already paid for runs out. Cancelling more than 24 hours before the end of a free trial means you are not charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy the one-time purchase instead.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple and we never see your card details. You can restore an earlier purchase or an active subscription on a new device using “Restore purchases” on the upgrade screen. Refunds are handled by Apple in line with the App Store Terms of Service.
Behindr is provided “as is”. On-device subject detection depends on the photo or video and may not be perfect for every image. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
